Sunday morning while Aaron and Astra were sleeping we drove over to Sunrise Bagels. It's a bagel shop Aaron took Mike yesterday when we were taking care of Corey's van. The bagel was delicious. After that we went back and said goodbye to Aaron and Astra. They were both supercool. I'm thinking about calling them to see if they would ever wanna hangout when Margaret and I are in NYC. After our goodbyes we left. Mike drove (and texted) through the mountains of PA.

We arrive in Cleveland to numerous calls from Aaron to see how we're doing. We get to the club. Inside it's awesome. It's a old bowling alley that was gutted out and turned into a big bar and venue. It's got full sound and light systems. The venue was much nicer than the people we met there. We hung out before the show for a while. I was talking to the doorman who I thought was albino without the red eyes. I asked him if he ever heard of the GC5. He replied back with only a yes. He then said his brother was Nick (something) the dude who set up the show there and local punk rock legend. I was like "right on" not having any idea who Nick (something) was.

JATP sets up their gear and I set up the merch. During their sound check  I hear several people near me talking jazz about JATP. I ignore them. Opy comes up to me complaining about the soundman and other people working. I told him about the idiots making stupid comments. I go outside and call Margaret. At that moment even though it's only been four days since I've seen her it's fells like a month. I go back inside. The place is starting to fill up. The band playing after JATP called Know Kontrol is their first show - so a lot of their friends showed up to see them. JATP takes the stage. With full sound they were really good. Only a few people got into them. After their set KK played. They weren't good at all. I saw a few members before the show and they seemed really arrogant. After them was a horrible band called Boy Meats Grill. Majority of their songs were about hamburgers. They covered Roy Orbison's You Got It which is a song I normally love, but didn't make any sense to me why they would cover it. We left during them and before Johnny Mohawk and the Assassins. Johnny Mohawk has a 3ft Mohawk - hence the name. Overall the show sucked bad but it paid off because we got a $100 for gas and free food. Unfortunately nobody ever told us the food was ready so it got cold.

Like mentioned we left during the cheesy Boy Meats Grill band. Opy drove eight hours back home. On the way home Aaron called us several more times and Margaret called me telling me she was going to bed. Her calling me made my night.

Here is what I bought on Sunday:
